Newspaper articles from New York, Boston, and local Connecticut newspapers about the tragic Hartford circus fire in July 1944. The tent covering the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey circus caught fire and trapped many in the audience. The scrapbook was created by Jane Wheeler who was a child living in New Britain, Connecticut, at the time.
